How we check facts

Sources we use

1. The free zone's own website and published fee schedules.
2. Federal and emirate government sources: u.ae, the Federal Tax Authority, the Ministry of Finance, the ICP and GDRFA, and emirate executive council resolutions.
3. Notes from major accounting and law firms, used to explain official rules, never to replace them.
4. Established news outlets, for what changed and when.

Prices quoted by setup agents are labelled as estimates.

Dates

Each guide shows when it was published and when it was last updated. Each fee or rule that can change shows the date we verified it. If a page is older than six months, treat its numbers with care until we recheck it.

What we won't do

• Imply that we are an official body or that we can approve anything.
• Promise a visa, a bank account or a 0% tax outcome. These depend on your facts and on decisions made by others.
• Publish invented quotes, reviews or experts.

Corrections

If something is wrong or out of date, tell us. We fix confirmed errors and note material corrections at the end of the article.
